There are so many beaches to discover and explore. A few standouts include:

• The Duver – our local. The best crabbing spot on the Island. Dog friendly, with plenty of parking, a couple of food outlets, Watersports, and toilets.
• Appley Beach, Ryde – wide, sandy, shingle stretch with shallow waters. Park in Puckpool Park for an extra adventure.
• Ryde – best sand on the Isle, miles of white sand. Check out the rides and arcades whilst there.
• Compton Bay – Located along the infamous Military Road, National Trust parking, flat sandy beach to the south of the Island. Spot the dinosaur footprint.
• Freshwater Bay – steep shingle beach, where you often find all year swimmers having a dip or warming up in the mobile sauna.
